Zyxel Networks' firewall solutions win top PUR survey accolade

Zyxel Networks' firewall solutions have been awarded Champion status in the latest Professional User Ratings (PUR) survey by techconsult. This recognition comes after more than 3,500 security experts from various organisations participated in evaluating the security solutions. This accolade reflects the high regard security professionals have for the user-friendliness, reliability, and enterprise-grade performance of Zyxel Networks' products, which are offered at prices accessible for small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs).

The survey, which analysed various security solutions, ranked vendors based on their Solution/Technology Excellence and Company Excellence. Zyxel Networks achieved the highest overall Solution/Technology Excellence rating and the fourth-highest Company Excellence ranking. It was one of only eight vendors to receive the top Champion status.

Zyxel Networks' firewall solutions were praised for their user-friendliness and reliability, and they received high marks for overall functionality and compliance. The company's support and technical competency also garnered positive feedback, as did the continuous improvement of its product portfolio.

Techconsult places vendors within a PUR diamond to illustrate their rankings based on customer ratings of products and services. The evaluation includes cross-solution and solution-specific criteria such as performance, functionality, user-friendliness, and user satisfaction. The latest techconsult PUR diamond for security comprises 22 vendors.

Raphael Napieralski, an analyst at techconsult, highlighted the importance of firewall solutions in IT security. "Firewall solutions are an important part of ensuring the IT security of any company.
