Zara Cobb named Chief Marketing Officer at Compare Club

Compare Club has appointed Zara Cobb as its new Chief Marketing Officer.

Cobb arrives at Compare Club with more than two decades of marketing experience, spanning fintech, eCommerce and loyalty, and has previously held a series of senior leadership roles including most recently as Chief Marketing Officer at Cashrewards.

At Cashrewards, Cobb was responsible for brand transformation projects and member growth initiatives for the cashback platform. Her career has included several years at Lendi Group, where she contributed to the merger with Aussie Home Loans and was instrumental in the company's growth activities. During her tenure at Lendi Group, she held positions including Chief Marketing Officer, Group CMO and Chief Growth Officer.

Cobb's experience also features time spent with media agencies such as Initiative, Mediacom, Match Media, and Blue 449. At Blue 449, she served as Head of Strategy and Analytics ahead of its integration with Spark Foundry. Her responsibilities have included managing marketing teams exceeding 60 people and overseeing budgets up to AUD $30 million.

According to Emma Fawcett, Chief Executive Officer of Compare Club, the decision to bring on Cobb is part of an ongoing strategy to maintain focus on innovation, customer growth, and developing a purpose-led ethos within the company.

During her previous roles, Cobb built a reputation for aligning marketing performance with clear organisational purpose. She is quoted as saying, "clicks without connection just don't cut it."

Compare Club operates one of Australia's largest comparison platforms, with more than 3.6 million members and over one million product enquiries annually. The company's offerings span health insurance, energy, mortgages, and personal finance products.

Teams at Compare Club are located across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, and the company's focus is on assisting Australians in finding better value on essential household expenses through its platform.
