Trend Micro named Leader in Q3 2024 Forrester report
Trend Micro has been recognised as a Leader in Attack Surface Management (ASM) in the latest evaluation by Forrester.
The company's innovative ASM approach, integrated with its flagship cybersecurity platform, Trend Vision One, has been highlighted in The Forrester Wave: Attack Surface Management Solutions for Q3 2024.
Luke Mason, Senior Cybersecurity Analyst at the City of Columbia, praised Trend Micro's ASM solution: "Trend's Attack Surface Risk Management is a game-changer, allowing us to assess domains, prioritise vulnerabilities, and chart a focused plan of attack. This helps us pinpoint our vulnerable areas and allocate resources effectively."
Forrester's report notes that Trend Micro has a comprehensive approach to ASM, encompassing continuous monitoring, discovery, prioritisation, and remediation. The report states: "With a demonstrated commitment to R&D, Trend Micro has a differentiated innovation approach, centering capabilities toward Zero Trust by expanding coverage to identities, devices, networks, and cloud workloads."
According to the company, the adoption rate of its ASM capabilities has grown substantially, seeing over 170% growth in allocation over the past year. Trend Micro aims to stay ahead of threats by continually developing the tool. The roadmap for 2024-25 includes enhancements in security awareness, compliance management, cyber risk quantification, vulnerability risk management, and data and AI security posture management, among others.
