Superloop Limited announces new CFO & Business & Wholesale head

Superloop Limited has announced significant senior appointments to its leadership team. Mr Dean Tognella has been assigned the post of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) from 6 March 2024, succeeding in the role where he has operated since 23rd October 2023. Concurrently, Ms Daisey Stampfer will take on the role of Group Executive Business & Wholesale permanently.

Mr Tognella comes with over 25 years of diverse experience across various telecommunications and technology companies. His credentials include working for SingTel, Optus, NBN Co, IBM and PwC in senior roles. His academic qualifications are equally impressive, boasting a fellowship from the Institute of Chartered Accountants and an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management (UNSW). His selection was built on his capacity to propagate the company’s ‘Double Down’ strategy, continuing on their trajectory of success.

Paul Tyler, the Managing Director and CEO of Superloop, commended Mr Tognella's contributions during his time as Acting CFO. "The Board and I want to thank Dean for his incredible enthusiasm and impact whilst in the Acting CFO role. During this time, Dean led the 1H FY24 results process, demonstrating his deep knowledge of the business and industry, strong leadership and financial acumen, contributing significantly to the Company's financial success and growth,” he said.

Following the announcement of Mr Tognella’s appointment, it was confirmed that Daisey Stampfer's temporary position, previously held by Mr Tognella, would become permanent. Ms Stampfer has been holding the Group Executive Business & Wholesale role since the former’s previous transition on 23rd October 2023. Prior to this post, she served as Superloop’s Group Executive Strategy & Transformation.

Ms Stampfer brings over 15 years of experience from technical as well as non-technical leadership roles in top-tier companies such as Bosch, Thales, Telstra, and more recently, NBN Co. She served as the GM of Sales Enablement and Client Services for business service delivery at NBN Co. Armed with an educational background in Robotics Engineering, Computer Science, Software and Law, Ms Stampfer is known for her ardour in addressing business issues through Superloop's modern solutions, thereby assisting clients in thriving in their respective pursuits.

These strategic appointments to key leadership roles in the Superloop hierarchy highlight the firm’s intentions to strengthen its internal workings. With experienced leaders at the helm in both the financial and the business development spheres, the company seems ready to face future challenges head-on and follow its successful ‘Double Down’ strategy on the path to financial growth and development.
