Stefan Krause joins artius.iD as strategic advisor

Security and digital ID company, artius.iD, has announced the appointment of Stefan Krause to its Board of Strategic Advisors.

Stefan Krause brings over three decades of executive experience from notable roles in the finance and automotive sectors. He previously held the positions of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at the BMW Group and Deutsche Bank. Krause has also served as Chairman of Rolls-Royce, Postbank AG, and BHF Bank and has been a board member for Allianz AG, Rocket Internet, and Wiesmann Automotive, among others.

In addition to his work with established corporations, Krause has significant experience with start-ups and small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). He is the founder, Chairman, and CEO of B-ON, a provider of electric vehicle (EV) solutions, and co-founder, CEO, and Chairman of Canoo, an EV manufacturer.

Krause's appointment at artius.iD comes amid growing cybersecurity challenges faced by financial institutions. His extensive experience in the global financial market is expected to position artius.iD advantageously as it aims to fulfil the increasing demand for digital ID solutions among leading financial firms.

This development is part of a series of strategic appointments by artius.iD, including Burton M. Goldfield, former CEO and President of TriNet, and Ed Watal, founder and Principal of Intellibus, to its Board of Strategic Advisors. These appointments are intended to solidify artius.iD's strategy to become a primary provider of secure ID solutions for SMBs, multinational corporations, and public entities.
