Orange Cyberdefense earns global recognition for XSIAM

Yesterday

Orange Cyberdefense has achieved recognition for its cybersecurity solutions, attaining the Palo Alto Networks NextWave Cortex XSIAM Select Specialisation Status both in the Asia-Pacific region and globally.

Orange Cyberdefense's achievement within the Cortex XSIAM Specialised Programme highlights its expertise in employing the Cortex XSIAM platform as a managed service, a recognition that positions it among the top global partners in this particular field. The company is noted for its dedication to empowering businesses with cybersecurity solutions, supported by its experience in information security, a network of 3,000 experts, and 36 detection centres worldwide.

Orange has already implemented the platform for ten customers across various global industries. This deployment aims to enhance security operations capabilities, addressing the increased sophistication of cyberattacks and the larger attack surfaces that business digitalisation presents. Increased attack surfaces can result in heightened vulnerabilities, which generate extensive data usually processed by Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) systems.

Typical SIEMs could flag over 1,000 security alerts daily, a number projected to increase. Manually processing each alert by cybersecurity teams is unsustainable, necessitating smarter solutions like XSIAM. XSIAM automates SIEM operations through machine learning for enhanced threat detection and incident management, enabling timely resolution of security alerts.

Palo Alto Networks' Cortex XSIAM, an AI-driven platform, enhances security outcomes by centralising data and SOC capabilities. The platform combines features such as XDR, SOAR, ASM, and SIEM, reducing the need for multiple consoles and advancing security postures.

The platform brings several benefits, namely AI-driven threat detection, which proactively identifies threats, and automated incident response, which streamlines threat management. It also offers improved security operations efficiency, empowering teams with comprehensive visibility and insights for quicker decision-making. Additionally, the deployment and adoption of XSIAM are designed to be seamless, maximising potential and delivering rapid value.

For enterprises, partnering with Orange Cyberdefense means they can focus on core business operations, leaving security management to professionals. "The cybersecurity landscape today is vast and complex. By partnering with Palo Alto Networks, Orange Business and Orange Cyberdefense as a team bring forth our digital and network integration & cybersecurity expertise to deliver a simplified service that secures the evolving threat landscape for enterprises globally," said Christophe Ozer, Head of Partners, Orange Business APAC.

Ozer expressed that being recognised as a top XSIAM Select Partner globally motivates the company to set new benchmarks in supporting businesses to operate confidently. He also noted the company's leadership role in redefining cybersecurity excellence.

Michelle Saw, Vice President, GTM Shared Services and Ecosystems for Asia Pacific and Japan at Palo Alto Networks, commented on the partnership. She highlighted that it enables customers to transform their security operations centres with the leading SOC platform in the industry.

Saw further emphasised Cortex XSIAM specialisation as a commitment to partners, enhancing their services with top-tier detection, analytics, and automation technologies. "NextWave partners play a critical role throughout the customer lifecycle, from the initial qualifying stage to ultimately ensuring successful deployment and adoption of our technology, particularly in areas like XSIAM," she stated.
