Global cybersecurity company McAfee has announced the winners of its 2017 Channel Partner Awards FOR A/NZ and APAC, with the announcement taking place at the company's MPOWER and Partner Summit event at Sydney’s Darling Harbour.

McAfee says the awards recognise partners who embody the three foundational pillars of its partner program: strategic relationships, profitable partnerships and driving better customer outcomes.

For A/NZ, Ingram Micro picked up distributor of the year, while Exclusive Networks Singapore won the same title for APAC.

Dimension Data received nods for partner of the year in both APAC and A/NZ, and MSP partner of the year went to NEC in A/NZ and Trends & Technologies in APAC.

Adam Boreham, McAfee channel director for A/NZ says, "Our partners are incredibly important to McAfee and we’re proud to support them for their great work with these prestigious accolades.”

“We offer our congratulations to each of the winners.”

The full list of winners out of the partner event is as follows;

The Partner Summit event provided a platform for direct participation amongst channel partners where they could share feedback, discussions, strategies and insights on the security industry landscape.

This year, partners from 14 countries and 26 cities across APAC attended the event.

Partners received a range of awards based on their commitment to McAfee’s business strategy including, building strong ecosystems, dedication to customers, demonstration of technical efficiency and successful buildout of managed services.

Jagdish Mahapatra, McAfee APAC head of channel sales and alliances says, “Partners are integral to our success and lead the way in driving our entire channel to improve and deliver high-quality customer outcomes.

“By working together, we can provide better solutions that benefit our customers with greater protection, faster deployment times and reduced costs.”
