ManageEngine expands AD360 with over 100 new integrations
ManageEngine has announced the expansion of its identity and access management (IAM) platform, AD360, with over 100 new prebuilt integrations.
This development is aligned with ManageEngine's goal to enhance its converged IAM platform. The new integrations support a range of popular HRMS, ITSM, SIEM, and other enterprise applications. The platform also features REST API capabilities, allowing custom integration with third-party and in-house applications.
These integrations aim to offer a solution in a landscape where enterprises are challenged with managing numerous tools and fragmented data. According to a Gartner report, large enterprises typically juggle an average of 45 cybersecurity tools from numerous vendors, adding complexity to identity management tasks. Fragmented identities can lead to delays and increased IT overhead. Gartner found that 54% of organisations reported increased identity-related breaches, with significant business impact.
Global compliance laws intensify the importance of maintaining accurate identity and access data. As such, seamless identity integration has become essential for businesses beyond just compliance; it's considered a business imperative.
Manikandan Thangaraj, Vice President at ManageEngine, stated, "Our vision is to eliminate identity fragmentation and radically simplify enterprise identity governance. With AD360's expanded integrations, we're empowering businesses to build truly unified digital ecosystems. With this release, we want to help our customers transform identity management from an operational burden into a strategic enabler of productivity, agility, and security. Now, a hospital can auto-provision clinician access in Epic EHR the same day they're hired in Workday, with no coding and no delays."
AD360's integrations use industry-standard protocols such as SCIM, SAML 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), OAuth 2.0, and REST APIs, ensuring seamless compatibility across various IT systems. The platform's no-code configuration interface allows IT teams to establish connections easily and devise automated workflows, reducing implementation times from months to days.
ManageEngine's expanded integration network offers businesses several benefits, including quickly integrating and automating identity workflows. This can reduce operational costs, minimise errors, and enhance productivity by providing unified life cycle management and real-time identity synchronisation. Businesses can also benefit from strategic flexibility, avoiding vendor lock-ins, and supporting diverse business needs.
AD360's advanced identity automation capabilities enable sophisticated identity orchestration processes without coding, covering critical activities like user provisioning and secure offboarding. The platform aims to automatically align identity records to meet GDPR, HIPAA, and SOX requirements.
Thangaraj explained, "The interoperability between critical business applications streamlines processes such as onboarding and offboarding, delivering measurable business value and accelerating ROI. Legacy IAM tools often treat integrations as an afterthought, requiring months to integrate an organisation's IAM tech stack with ITSM or HCM tools. AD360 helps accomplish this with just a few clicks. It's not just about connecting systems—fundamentally changing how enterprises manage identities while minimising security risks."
