Gigamon unveils Power of 3 for hybrid cloud visibility
Gigamon has announced the Power of 3 offering in collaboration with Cribl and Blackwood, targeting enhanced visibility and management for hybrid cloud infrastructures.
The Power of 3 Cloud programme, initiated by Gigamon in June, teams up with Cribl and channel partner Blackwood to offer integrated solutions aimed at addressing the visibility gaps often found in hybrid cloud setups.
This coordination aims to bolster the security and management capabilities through improved data access for cloud, security, and observability tools.
With this offering, mutual customers can leverage Cribl's data routing and enrichment expertise combined with Gigamon's deep observability resources to address challenges such as security threats and system performance bottlenecks. Gigamon's Deep Observability Pipeline, together with Cribl Stream, is geared towards eliminating blind spots by directing relevant data precisely where needed.
Data from the 2024 Hybrid Cloud Security report by Gigamon indicates that 65 percent of Security and IT leaders question the efficacy of their current tools due to restricted visibility, with one-third of organisations having missed identifying breaches using existing resources.
"Visibility across increasingly complex hybrid cloud infrastructure is challenging CISOs and CIOs alike, and presents one of the greatest cybersecurity vulnerabilities today," stated Srinivas Chakravarty, Vice President of Cloud Ecosystem at Gigamon. "With our newest Power of 3 combination, we're efficiently delivering network-derived intelligence to Cribl Stream when, where, and how it is needed across hybrid cloud infrastructure. This powerful combination gives Security and IT teams the added visibility they need across existing tools, extending the value of their current tool stack to more efficiently secure and manage their cloud environments."
Integrating the Gigamon GigaVUE Cloud Suite with Cribl Stream, the latest Power of 3 offering assists in streamlining how data flows are set up between networks and tools, focusing on reducing complexity without compromising on security and traffic optimisation.
Ryan Morris, President at Blackwood, remarked, "We're witnessing an unprecedented explosion in both the number and variety of data sources, as organizations work to secure and manage their hybrid cloud infrastructure."
"Integrating industry-leading solutions from Cribl and Gigamon, we're able to offer customers the most comprehensive view of their cloud environments available in the market. As data volumes continue to grow exponentially, our integrated, cost-effective approach allows customers to confidently maintain robust cybersecurity postures."
Blackwood, which has nearly two decades of partnership with Gigamon, is set to deploy, customise, and support the Power of 3 initiative, leveraging its network of global IT professionals to deliver these enhanced services to joint clients.
Vlad Melnik, Technical Alliances and Partner Marketing at Cribl, added, "We're empowering our joint customers with unprecedented visibility and control over their hybrid cloud infrastructure. By combining Cribl and Gigamon, customers can extract maximum value from network data, while extending the value of existing tool investments. This integration provides customers with the solution they need to make more informed decisions, enhance their security posture, and optimize their network operations in an increasingly complex threat environment."
