Gallagher Security opens Gold Coast office for regional growth
Gallagher Security has officially opened a new office in Southport on the Gold Coast as part of its growth ambitions in Australia and the wider Asia-Pacific and IMEA regions.
The new Gold Coast office represents Gallagher Security's second major establishment in Australia, building on the presence created when the company launched the Gallagher Customer Service Centre in Epping, Victoria, in 2016.
The office opening was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by members of Gallagher Security's Queensland-based team, as well as its APAC and IMEA leadership and executive leadership teams. Craig Schutte, Executive Vice President for APAC and IMEA, carried out the task of cutting the orange Gallagher-branded ribbon, symbolising the official start of operations at the new site.
Business momentum
"The opening of our Gold Coast office is a reflection of the strong momentum we're seeing in Australia and across the region," said Craig Schutte, Executive Vice President for APAC and IMEA. "This expansion underscores our dedication to supporting our people, our partners, and the security industry."
He highlighted that a central feature of the new office is a purpose-built training room. This facility is specifically designed to provide hands-on, classroom-based learning experiences for channel partners, end users, and consultants. "This investment reflects Gallagher's ongoing commitment to technical excellence and empowering industry professionals through practical, in-depth training experiences," said Schutte.
Regional operations
"The new office will support a growing team across marketing, training, operations, and sales, and will also serve as a base for members of the APAC and IMEA leadership team. The permanent footprint represents a significant evolution in Gallagher's regional presence and long-term commitment to the Queensland market," said Schutte.
The Southport site adds to Gallagher Security's operational footprint within Australia and is expected to play a central role in business functions such as marketing, training, operations, and sales. It will also be a hub for the leadership team responsible for the broader APAC and IMEA regions, further integrating the Gold Coast location into Gallagher Security's global operations.
This latest expansion complements the existing Customer Service Centre in Epping, Victoria. The Epping facility supports warehousing, distribution, and includes the Technology Hub-a space where customers can interact with the company's security solutions.
