FYI, this story is more than a year old

CenturyLink is rolling out its Managed Security Services 2.0 suite, which includes security log monitoring with trending and threat analysis, threat intelligence and incident management and response, in Asia Pacific.

Francis Thangasamy, CenturyLink Asia Pacific vice president of IT services and managed hosting, says security is a top concern holding many companies across Asia Pacific back from digital transformation.

“While more than 55% of APAC companies already have a formal digitisation strategy, about 35% of enterprises expressed concerns about a potential failure to secure sensitive data [according to 451 Research],” Thangasamy says.

He says the enhanced suite, which builds on CenturyLinks platform of managed security offerings, can help organisations address cybersecurity challenges leveraging behavoural-based detection technologies, and offers flexible deployment options to help customers avaoid increased spending with a predictable operating expense model.

The offering integrates with existing security information and event management systems and supports the entire IT stack via a single portal.

CenturyLink says it combines human skill ‘with complete transparency so customers can see and verify the work being done on their behalf'.
