FYI, this story is more than a year old

CA Technologies has confirmed a change of leadership on the channel front, with Kevin Van Gils appointed as director of partners and alliances across ANZ.

Van Gils, who was previously senior account director for CA Technologies, is responsible for ‘maintaining executive-level partner and alliance relationships and defining local channel go-to-market strategies to create joint business opportunities for CA and its partners across our key areas of specialisation – IT business management, DevOps and security management'.

He takes over from Carl Terrantroy, who exited in December, having taken over the role in May 2013. Terrantroy had previously been ANZ chief technology officer four years.

Hope Powers, CA Technologies Australia and New Zealand managing director and senior vice president, says Van Gils, who will be Melbourne-based, has more than 12 years global experience selling managed services and enterprise software.

He has previously held sales positions with Attachmate, Macquarie Telecom and several UK organisations, and prior to joining CA Technologies in 2010 was territory manager for NetIQ.

“Kevin is a strong performer with an excellent track record and very strong relationships with partners,” Powers says.

“I have every confidence that Kevin will take this one step further to ensure our partner have the education, tools and support they need to successfully sell and implement CA solutions.
