Attivo Networks has signed on Melbourne-based IT consulting firm Shelde as the company ramps up its Australian channel expansion.
Attivo Networks and Shelde will work together to extend the reach of Attivo Networks' cybersecurity solutions, which use deception technology to detect and misdirect in-network attacks.
Shelde, which specialises in analytics, cloud, data platforms, digital transformation and security, will direct its efforts towards operationalising Attivo Networks' portfolio to Australian enterprises.
Attivo Networks ANZ regional director Jim Cook says the company is looking to expand its Australian presence this year, and the partnership with Shelde is a key part of that expansion strategy.

Shelde's head of cybersecurity Andrew Scully adds that Attivo Networks brings a ‘fantastic' capability to Shelde's cybersecurity portfolio and the company's end-to-end solutions.

Increasingly challenging is the investment required to weed through massive volumes of security alerts and confirming what's real and what are false positives, especially at enterprise scale. Earlier this year Attivo Networks announced that has made its ADSecure solution available for use with Google Cloud's Managed Service for Microsoft Active Directory.
The ADSecure solution operates without altering the production Active Directory (AD). It is able to detect unauthorised queries within a managed AD service. This, in turn, can reduce ‘successful enumeration' risk.
